Dr Govinda KC ends fast: A few words, Some Trust and A lot of Hope

Dr Govinda KC has ended his fourth  fast-onto-death today after ‘credible’ reassurances were given by the government on most of his demands. On a rather chilly afternoon Dr. Govinda KC broke his fast by receiving juice from two of his students, at a ceremony attended by top bureaucratic officials, organizational heads, his colleagues, students and sympathizers.

No to Tribhuvan University: Students declare Autonomy

Now an Autonomous University! Resident Doctors and Health Science & Medical Students cover the 'Tribhuvan University' portion of Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital and replace it with a banner saying स्वायत्त(Autonomous) in a symbolic gesture over the continual erratic and irresponsible actions of the TU Authorities. In a symbolic blow to the rampant, corrupt and irresponsbible Tribhuvan University Officials; the Undergraduate Students and Resident Doctors today covered the 'Tribhuvan University' portion of the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital and  instead renamed the Hospital 'Autonomous Teaching Hospital'(स्वायत्त शिक्षण अस्पताल).

आजभन्दा ठिक चार हप्ता  अगाडी अनसन सुरु गरेका वरिष्ठ हाड जोर्नी विशेषज्ञ प्राध्यापक डाक्टर गोविन्द के. सी. ले अझैं पूर्ण स्वास्थ्यलाभ नगरीसकेको अवस्थामा आज (२०७० माघ २५ गते, शनिबार) दिउसो १ बजे पत्रकार सम्मेलन गरि शिक्षण संस्थानहरुमा राजनीतिक हस्तक्षेप र भ्रस्टाचार बिरुद्धको अभियानको चौथो आमरण अनसन सुरु गरेका छन्।

बेथिति विरूद्धको आन्दोलन

टिचिंग अस्पतालका डाक्टर गोविन्द के सी ले चिकित्सा विज्ञान पढाई हुने क्याम्पसहरुमा गुणस्तर र चरम राजनैतिक हस्तक्षेपका बिरुद्ध एउटा अलग किसिमको आन्दोलन छेडेका छन्, बन्द हड्ताल जस्ता कार्यक्रमको सहारा लिएर श्रमजीवी जनतालाई दुख दिनुभन्दा, उनले आमरण अनसन बसेर सरकारलाई चुनौती दिईरहेका छन्। अर्की शारदा भुषाल झाले पनि गा.वि.स.हरुमा हुने भ्रष्टाचार बिरुद्ध अनसन बस्दै आएकी छन्। यी दुई पात्रहरु भोलि नयाँ नेपालमा कस्तो प्रशासनिक व्यवस्था बनाउने भन्ने आन्दोलनमा आम जनताको बोलि लिएर अगाडी बढेका छन्।
